15 inch Active Speaker Review: Topp Pro X15A
In search of good quality speakers, we come across many brands of speakers out there in the market. Speakers which can become costly at some point fails our expectations and does not meet our need for high power and strong bass speakers. Moreover, the substandard speakers being sold either has poor sound quality, poor built material, easily failing components, and overrated power rating which results to burnt speaker coil.

Topp Pro X15A
The new Topp Pro Music Gear X series cabinets have been designed to provide a cost effective high grade solution while maintaining high quality cabinet construction and optimum components.
The X series can be used for all types of applications including churches, conference centers and discos. The woofer and neodymium driver combination provides excellent performance rivaling those cabinets costing much more.
In this article we will focus on Topp Pro X15A Active speaker. It is a 2 way active vented speaker with 15" woofer for low transducer containing 2" voice coil. The Transducer driver is a 1" neodymium driver containing 1" voice coil. The horn coverage is 90°H x 60°V. Frequency response is 55Hz-20KHz at -6dB. Crossover frequency for the low and high is at 2100Hz.
It gets more interesting to note that it's program power rating is 400W and the peak power is 800W. Max SPL is at 119dB maximum. Line in connectors are XLR. Checking on the amplifier module, there is an external volume control, a power on with green light indicator, a mic and line switch, clip limiter with red LED indicator and ground lift. Advance built-in features include Electronic Protections, Overload, Analog limiter and Compressor. Power source is a switchable 110V/ 220V.
Considering the cabinet or case material, it is made of durable black plastic cabinet. Size is trapezoidal and monitor shape a monitor speaker configuration is provided, metal grille, rubber foot, and 3 handles on both side and top of the speaker. Net weight is at 15.43Kg which would require 2 people for comfortable carrying and lifting.
Sound quality is great and the bass is there due to the 15 inch powerful speaker driver, Acquiring this speaker for small events and indoor applications is one of the top choice due to its quality and relative low cost compared to other brands in the said speaker specifications. Adding your videoke, monitor and mixer makes it a great portable videoke machine. Setting up one for rental during events is also perfect for entrepreneurs.
